I have had Time Warner Cable for a little while now and I still haven't received my first bill. I grew concerned about two weeks ago and contacted their online customer service. I was told I should get the bill in a few days. I waited. Two weeks later I still have no bill.

So today I talked to their online customer service again...I was advised by this person that he couldn't help me with that issue and I should contact their phone customer service.

This is how the conversation with this person went:

CSR: Hi, how can I help you today?

Me: Hi, I am concerned that I still haven't received my first bill but I feel like I should've had it by now.

CSR: Where should we be sending it?

Me: To the address I just verified. It's correct.

CSR: Then you should have it.

Me: But I don't have it.

CSR: Well, you should have it. We sent it there.

Me: And...I didn't get it. Can you do something about sending another one?

CSR: Well, I'm showing that you're signed up for our PayExpress...maybe that's why you didn't get your bill. Once that's activated then we stop sending paper bills.

Me: What day was the paper bill sent?

CSR: November 30th.

Me: I just signed up for PayExpress with the online customer service today.

CSR: Well, if you log in to your PayExpress you can see your bill.

Me: Great! How do I do that?

CSR explains.

Me: It says I need a username and password. Where do I get those?

CSR: When you signed up they gave it to you.

Me: I JUST signed up 5 minutes ago and I wasn't given a username and password.

CSR: Yes you were.

Me: NO, I wasn't.

CSR: Well, you can re-register now then.

Me: It says I need the account number to register...can you give me that?

CSR: It's on your bill.

Me: I haven't gotten my bill...

CSR: Well, you'll have to wait for your bill then. I'll have it resent. But the payment is late. It was due on December 21st.

Me: -sigh-

I proceeded to pay over their automated system but is it just me or does that conversation lack a certain common sense, customer service, and a general preparedness for my questions?

I guess I should just be grateful that I could understand what she was saying lol.

So, this week I've been feeling crappy. I've had migraines, other headaches, dizziness, exhaustion, and upset stomach. I'll feel ok when I wake up but after a few hours of being up the sick feelings will come back and I'll get real weak.

Today I took a 3 1/2 hour nap in the middle of the day. That really helped a lot. I'm feeling pretty ok at the moment.

I hope I feel all better soon. I've got dishes and sweeping and vacuuming I need to get done!

Well, it's moving time tomorrow morning. I'm almost all packed. I still have to pack up my computer tonight (want to have it out for today), perishable food, and stuff I use every day like shampoo, toothbrush, sleep machine, etc.

I hope the power gets turned on today. I would be happy if nothing gets in the way of a smooth move.

I'm tired. I haven't been sleeping too well this week. I might take a nap in a bit.

Well, first I guess I have to go back a couple of days.

The first night I went to hang out at Julie's...I think that was last Tuesday or so...I heard them talking about Pagan beliefs and listened. By the time our date on Friday arrived I had some questions and my heart felt open to believing something again.

I was a bit interested in Wicca back when I went to Mesa State College in Colorado but my heart wasn't ready yet. Now it is.

I decided that the general beliefs I hold don't fit with the monotheistic religions (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) so that would make me a Pagan.

After I came to that conclusion, I decided to read up on Wicca. I feel especially drawn to Wiccan beliefs. I started reading a book called "The Wicca Handbook" and keeping a journal of what I learn or find interesting. I learned that I needed to choose a divination method that appealed to me and I feel most drawn to Runic Divination. I started reading online about Elder Futhark Nordic Runes and ordered a book on it that I hope comes soon.

Today I made a set of runes to start with. I hope to learn to make a wood set soon after I've learned more about the Runes themselves, casting, and reading them.

I went to the Doctor again today. The main reason for my visit was for my leg infection.

The Dr. took a swab of my leg to see if a) it's still infected and/or b) it's not responding to the antibiotics. I'll hear back about that later if there's something to report.

When the nurse took my vital signs I was happily surprised. My resting heart rate and my blood pressure have been rather high. Today my blood pressure was 100/80 and my resting heart rate was 80 beats per minute. These are both good and definitely improvements from before! I find it interesting that my blood pressure is lower on my new diet after one week than it was after months on a blood pressure lowing medicine!

I am also happy that I have been learning about my health on my own and not leaving it up to Doctors. Today my Dr. suggested I go on Probiotics to counter the negative effects of all the antibiotics I've been on lately. Not only had I already learned what those were online but I had already started taking them in three different forms (pills, cereal, and yogurt)!

I have an appointment to go in for a bone scan on July 2nd. Until then I'll just keep doing what I've been doing.

...I'm a vegetarian. I don't know if this will just be temporary or if I'll decide to stick with it but that's where I'm at for now. I think I will still eat eggs and cheese but I might want to switch to soy milk.

I've been more of a fan of Honda than Ford but today that has changed a bit. I was doing some research on seat belt extenders. It turns out that Ford makes them AND provides them for free! Honda refuses to even make them!

:-p at Honda

...and now I like Ford more.

You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Please copy mine below, erase my answers putting yours in their place then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration! One-word answers seldom help anyone out .

1. First Name: Jen

2. Age: 27

3. Location: Auburn, Maine

4. Occupation: Sometimes an online student, friend, high-maintainence pet, amateur computer-fixer, pursuer of Disability benefits, lover of animals, and friend of wildlife.

5. Partner? Um...my cat Cyprus? lol

6. Kids: Well, I call Cyprus my baby. This does seem awkward considering number 5 though...hmm...

7. Brothers/Sisters: 2 younger sisters: Alyssa and Annie.

8. Pets: Cyprus (cat), Uranus and Ivan (beta fish), Yamai and Nulpi (Degus), and 8 gerbils. Also in our house are Puck and Chandler (rabbits), Matrix, Koda, and Pharoah(cats), Memnoch and Merrick (cockatiels), Lucius (milksnake), Poker (corn snake), Jack and Patty (leopard geckos), Terren, Kaaloch, and Brom (bearded dragons), Aven and Shani (crested geckos), Pandora (Kat's gerbil), Xylia (chinchilla), Lestat (tokay gecko), and three fish-tanks.

9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
-I fell down the stairs recently and hurt my leg. It's been a big deal with lots of x-rays, blood tests, and antibiotics. Now they think the infection might have gone deep into the bone so I might need extensive antibiotics via IV.
-Volunteering for Misfits Rehab and helping to prepare squirrels to be released back into the wild.
-Haven't been well (physically/mentally) enough to work so I've been trying to get Disability benefits since September 2007. It's a long, drawn-out process.
-Trying to make positive chances to get myself healthier. These include going to weekly one-on-one therapy, going to group DBT/CBT, drinking lots of water, eating healthier, taking supplements, doing a lot of research and having control over any prescriptions I take, and attempting to get any exercise my injured body can handle.
-Trying to rewire my brain to think positive and not give up so easily.

10) Where and for what did you go to school? Mesa State College and Baker College Online for Computer Science. Haven't finished any degrees yet.

11) Parents? They live in Fruita, Colorado

12) Who are some of your closest friends? Kat, Dustin, Jimmy, Sarah, Zeb just to name a few.

So, today I saw my therapist, Steve. He received some paperwork from Social Security to fill out about me so we had to go over the things I've been diagnosed with.

Some of these I didn't even know about. Apparently, they don't always tell you these things in the hospital...hmm...

Here they are:

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Major Depressive Disorder with Psychotic Features
Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia
Dissociative Identity Disorder
Borderline Personality Disorder

The one other that he didn't list is Gender Dysphoria because I don't think I've talked to him about that.

Looking at that list, it's a wonder I cope as well as I do lol.

We won't add on the list of physical problems I have lol. That would just be too hard on morale.
